Wimbledon 2021 Men's Singles: Who are the Favorites to Win?

The summer is here in Europe, and it is time to celebrate the biggest annual sporting event. Yes, we are talking about the most prestigious tennis grand slam Wimbledon. The 134th edition of the oldest Grand slam has already taken place from July 21st in London.

Who are the favourites to win Wimbledon?

While the first round of the tournament started in full swing, can you guess who is ahead in the race to take the trophy at home? By observing their current situation and previous record, we have picked up the list of favourites which are given below:

Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic is undoubtedly the top seed for this year. The defending champion of the 2019 edition is hoping to retain his title this year too. So far, Djokovic has come as dominating and already has won the French and Australian Open. Now he is looking for his 6th Wimbledon.

Roger Federer

8th time champion and a total of 20 Grand Slam winners, Roger Federer, is the favourite in our list. The Swiss master is returning to the grass-court with a hope to win his 21st Grand slam title.

Daniil Medvedev

The current world number two Russian player is also holding a favourite place for this year. Although Daniil Medvedev has not won any Grand Slam, we can't ignore the potentiality of this young player.

Rafael Nadal was our second favourite for the tournament this year, but it changed at the last minute. The player is skipping this year's edition due to several injuries. We will surely miss the two time champion of Wimbledon.

Britain's son Andy Murray is not in his best form this year. Going through his previous record, we can say that he can bring surprises, as tennis is unpredictable for sure.
