Rightly so as the studio has a plethora of blockbuster movies and TV programs up in its sleeves. The deal is supposed to cost around $8.45bn, making it the second-largest in’s history. With it in their bags, the e-commerce behemoth would get access to a great number of classic Hollywood films. While it’s anyone’s guess what the new owners are planning to do with their incredible intellectual property rights, some movies are destined for a remake.

You may not know that it is Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer who holds the intellectual property rights to the famous British spy’s movie series.
