Electric Vehicle: Porsche Taycan and Audi e-Tron GT Hot Up the Race

The Electric Vehicle (EV) revolution is truly on now. With many traditional car manufacturers racing on to follow, and possibly, surpass Tesla’s lead, the EV market is now a field with lots of options. With cars like the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-Tron GT, it’s no longer just a stand for the betterment of the earth, but a style statement and lifestyle too.

As a motorist, you shouldn’t mind! The more electric vehicles are there to choose from, the better. So, why not find out the two most attractive electric vehicles in the market from below?

Porsche Taycan

When the rumour about the Apple Car started to appear, the car I was envisioning would perhaps look like Porsche Taycan! What a dreamy car, with its beautiful Porsche design and benchmark level acceleration times. The charging speed of its all-electric mechanism is pretty awesome too. The car has an electric range between 333km to 463km.

The only drawback of the Porsche Taycan maybe it's over $100,000 starting price, but no one expects a cheap EV from Porsche anyways.

Audi e-Tron GT

Gunning for the Tesla Model S’s success, Porsche and Audi actually partnered up with each other to build their J1 platform - a bespoke electric vehicle framework. So, in a way, the Audi e-Tron GT is the sibling of the Porsche Taycan. Although sharing the same internals, this second attempt at a bespoke EV from Audi stands on its own. The driver’s seat is slightly raised here, with the back seats coming with ample room.

The Audi e-Tron GT can deliver 469BHP, with more powerful versions also available. Both the versions have a boost mode, however, which can enhance the engine’s horsepower even further. Unlike Porsche Taycan, This beautiful electric vehicle from Audi starts just shy of $100,000.
